More of Hanna and JoJo

Ok, so Jamie asked for more pictures of Hanna and JoJo...Here they are (They are not the best quality pictures of them, so I will try and get some better ones up soon!!):

Senior pictures are under way!

This is going to be a busy year for senior pictures! Recently I went to the Petersons cottage on Lake Michigan and shot Tom and Alanna's senior pictures. Tom and Alanna have been dating for about 8 months and they make the cutest couple. I was really excited with how their pictures turned out! Here is a sneak peak:

Some water

I was at home today and the sun was shining through the kitchen window right on a vase I had sitting in the sink. It inspired me to take some creative shots.

Jackie and Matt

A few weeks ago I did Jackie and Matts engagement pictures in Saugatuck. Their wedding date is 6/7/8 and they are just so excited!
We had a lot of fun in town and on the beach. Here are a few samples of how they turned out!
Aren't they cute together?

My home town of Seattle

This picture was taken 2 weeks ago from the ferry in the Puget Sound going into downtown Seattle

My first blog post and a little about me!

I finally decided to start a blog for my photography business, JK Photography. I started JK Photography about 4 years ago when I was in college and did my first wedding soon after I started my business. I was never the type of person who thought I would enjoy photographing weddings, but after that first one I was hooked! I have shot over 100 weddings in the last 4 years and I can't wait to do more. It seems to me that each wedding I do gets more unique than the last one. All of my clients have been a dream to work with, it just makes my job that much better!
Not many people can say with 100% certainty that they love their job, so I suppose I am one of those lucky people who can. In fact, when I am out shooting a wedding or taking senior pictures or traveling, I am working at my full time job at Spout.com (a social networking website for people who love movies) where I do marketing and customer service. This job is my other passion. I get up int he morning and can't wait to go to work (well, most days anyway, lol).
Anyway, thats me in a nutshell!
